What is your theme song?

Many professional athletes have theme songs that play for them when they are up at bat, score a goal, or make a touchdown. Members of the WWE have songs that play as they come out to wrestle.

If you could have your own theme song, what would it be, and why?

You must include the following:

*Title of your song (in quotes) and the artist/band who performs it
*Explanation of why you chose this song. It must be based on the lyrics, so be sure to include key lyrics to support your choice!
*The lyrics should relate to your personality, personal experiences, or your attitude about life.

Your entry should be at least 5 sentences long or it will not be published! Remember to include your first name, first initial of your last name, and your period number.

As many of you know, I love to run. I get very excited when I know a race is coming up. For me, running isn't about beating the other people who are running the race; instead, it's about pushing myself, and exceeding my limits. I always try to get a better finish time in each race I run. The song "The Distance" by the band Cake reminds me of this. It's about a guy who is in a car race, and how he pushes through difficult times to keep going. Here are some of the lyrics:

Reluctantly crouched at the starting line,
Engines pumping and thumping in time.
The green light flashes, the flags go up.
Churning and burning, they yearn for the cup.
They deftly maneuver and muscle for rank,
Fuel burning fast on an empty tank.
Reckless and wild, they pour through the turns.
Their prowess is potent and secretly stearn.
As they speed through the finish, the flags go down.
The fans get up and they get out of town.
The arena is empty except for one man,
Still driving and striving as fast as he can.
The sun has gone down and the moon has come up,
And long ago somebody left with the cup.
But he's driving and striving and hugging the turns.
And thinking of someone for whom he still burns.

Even though this song talks about a physical race, I think the lyrics can also apply to one's outlook on life. I am always pushing myself to do better. I need to challenge myself to be the best person, teacher, mother, wife, and friend I can be. The main character in this song keeps going, even after the race is over. I believe I have this same type of attitude.

If I could have my own theme song it would be the song "Dynamite" becaues I love to live life and just make the best of it,Have fun with my friends, and a lot more. I love going out late and hanging out at party's or just a friends houes. The song is by the singer Taio Cruz, some of the lyrices are...

I throw my hands up in the air sometimes
Saying ay-oh, gotta let go.
I wanna celebrate and live my life
Saying ay-oh, baby let's go.
Cause we gon rock this club
We gon' go all night
We gon' light it up
Like it's dynamite.
Cause I told you once
Now I told you twice
We gon light it up
Like it's dynamite.

I'm gonna take it all like
I'm gonna be the last one standing
I'm alone and all I
I'm gonna be the last one landing.
Cause I-I-I believe it
And I-I-I, I just want it all, I just want it all.
I'm gonna put my hands in the air
Ha-hands hands in the air
Put your hands in the air-air-air-air-air-air.

This song realy explains that im one fun loveing person, and I'll always be.

My song is pocketful of sunshine by Natasha Bedingfield.I chose this song because its a postive and happy song. The lyrics "Do what you want,
but you're never gonna break me,
sticks and stones are never gonna shake me".means that that she will ignor rude comments and try not to let that bother her.
Also this lyric "And there's no more lies
And the darkness is light
And nobody cries
there's only butterflies" means that she trys to think more postive and doesnt want to be around nagitive people.I chose this song because i liked how it wasnt a song about negative it was postive and its about not letting anybody make you unhappy.

If I could choose a theme song for my life I think that "The Power of a Dream" by Celine Dion would fit perfectly. I am always excited for trying new things and believe anything is possible, which is the message of this song. Here are some of the lyrics:

Deep within each heart
There lies a magic spark
That lights the fire of our imagination
And since the dawn of man
The strenght of just "I can"
Has brought together people of all nations

There’s nothing ordinary
In the living of each day
There’s a special part
Every one of us will play

Feel the flame forever burn
Teaching lessons we must learn
To bring us closer to the power of the dream
As the world gives us its best
To stand apart from all the rest
It is the power of the dream that brings us here

Your mind will take you far
The rest is just pure heart
You’ll find your fate is all your own creation
Every boy and girl
As they come into this world
They bring the gift of hope and inspiration

This song has a very important theme and I believe it relates to my personality. I think that everyone is unique and has their own part to play in this world, like it says in the song. In the lyrics it also talks about being inspired to be yourself and do your best which is my motto for life. That is why I believe this song relates to my personality and attitude.

If I could have my own theme song, itr would be the song "Hate On Me" that was sung by the cast of Glee. I chose this song because I am going to be who I am no matter what others thiknk of me, and how they feel about me. I am also going to be nice, and not going to ignore you just because you may or mayt not like my personality. The lyrics describe that perfectly;

"If I could give you the world
On a silver platter
Would it even matter?
You'd still be mad at me,
If I can find in all this,
A dozen roses,
That I would give to you,
You'd still be miserable,
'Cause in reality,
I'm gon' be who I be,
And I don't feel no faults,
For all the lies that you bought,
You can try as you may,
Bring me down when I say,
That it ain't up to you,
Go on do what you do-

Hate on me hater,
Now or later,
Cause I'm gonna be me,
You'll be mad baby,

Go head and hate on me hater,
I'm not afraid of,
What I got I paid for,
You can hate on me,

Ooh if I gave you peaches,
Out of my own garden,
And I made you a peach pie,
Would you slap me high?
Wonder if I gave you diamonds,
Out of my own woumb,
Would you feel the love in that,
Or ask why not the moon,
If I gave you sanity,
For the whole of humanity,
And had all the solutions,
For the pain and pollution,
No matter where I live,
Despite the things I give,
You'll always be this way,
So go ahead and... "

I AM going to be who I want to be, and no matter how much you like or dislike me. I am going to be kind, funny, and, intelligent, noi matter what others think of me.

I love to play soccer and I never give up. Me playing soccer is me going out there and doing my best to win. I am always happy if I try my hardest even if we lose. The song "Here comes the Boom" by Nelly reminds me of how I am always trying my hardest and never giving up no matter the outcome.

Intro)

Ya'll don't really want it now (BOOM!)
Here comes the (BOOM!)

Ain't got no twist in my hair, but I'm still dread throwin
I gots plenty of bread so I go to bed full now
Ain't in it to win,to win it I'm all in
I might call you my cuz young blood, but we ain't kin naw
Ya think of jumpin' man,you best think again
Lil dirty,I'm the type of man that might could go for revenge
Have some not so nice friends, kick the door off the hinge
Take the door of ya Benz,p-p-pop 4 of your friends
This here ain't cynical (Uh uh)
Mental, subliminal,I'm physical, financial, and mental to be a general (HEY)

Not the type be in the tank, but in that Rover
Man please I'm in the zone like AIDS full blown
I'm killin it like a blind man readin,I'm feelin it like (BOOM!)

This song helps me get pumped up before a game and gets me to do my best all the time. It warms me up for whatever is to come at my soccer game. Even if we lose I’m happy as long as I do my best.

My big theory in life is to be who you are and dont let anyone else try and change you. My theme song that I picked for my self is called "King Of Anything" by Sara Bareilles. this song states exactly what i mean by just be you ur self. Here are the lyrics from the song i picked out that rele state what im trying to get at:

So let me thank you for time
And try to not waste any more of mine
Get out of here fast

I hate to break it to you babe
But I'm not drowning
There's no one here to save

Who cares if you disagree
You are not me
Who made you king of anything
So you dare tell me who to be
Who died
And made you king of anything

This song is deffinatly my theme song to life and how i feel about life and people.

If I could have a theme song, for my soccer games, I think the song "Alice" by Avril Lavigne. Some of the lyrics describe how you feel in the game and in life. These are some of the lyrics.

It can't stop me now
I, I'll get by
I, I'll survive
When the world's crashing down
When I fall and hit the ground
I will turn myself around
Don't you try to stop it?
I, I won't cry

Get back on my feet again
Is this real?
Is this pretend?
I'll take a stand until the end

These lyrics are great for soccer and in life for a few reasons. If you get knocked down it says to get back on your feet again. The song also gives you courage to take a stand until the end, which I do because I am very stubborn. When something bad happens I turn myself around, and look at the bright side. When I have made my decision in soccer or life, nothing can stop me!
As you can see, these lyrics are perfect for me and explain what I do in my life and sports.

If I had a theme song, I would want it to be "We are Who We are" by Ke$ha. I think it reflects a lot about my life, as well as many others. The song goes like this:

Tonight we’re going hard
Just like the world is ours
We’re tearin’ it apart
You know we’re superstars
We are who we are!

I like this song because it talks about people being unique. I think everybody should try to be their own person and be a superstar to themselves. It's all about just being yourself and not worrying wat other people think. I think that's what I try to do.

The theme song that I think would fit me would be "Rock 'n roll all night". The lyrics " I wanna rock 'n roll all night and party every day" would fit me because usually when u have a party your friends are there. So I want to hang out with my friends. I always want to have fun and at parties that what you do, right? So after the boring 6 hours of school I'm going to throw a party and not be bored.

If I can choose anything theme song it would be "Firework" by Katy Perry. That would be my theme song because the lyrics "Do you ever feel already buried deep?
6 feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing" thoses lyrics is like the feeling of being ignored. I sometimes feel this way because sometimes I try to say something imporatant but no one seems to listen. Sometimes being ignored feels like no one cares but, other times when people listen it makes me feel good and like people want to hear what I say. So thats why I would choose "Firework" by Katy Perry.

The song "All You Need Is Love" by The Beatles relates to my attitude against the world. I believe that you do not need to be successful or wealthy to be happy. As long as you are happy with your life, job, where you live, etc. The quotes : "Nothing you can make that can't be made
No one you can save that can't be saved
Nothing you can do but you can learn how to be you in time
It's easy" refer to the fact that even if u invent a new invention, or discover something new, that it still is normal. You are nothing special because anybody else could have done it. You are special if you enjoy what you did when you discovered , invented, etc anything. You don't need to be successful to be happy. You can have the worst job in the world and love it and be morally more successfull than the richest man in the world. In the end , all you need is love.Overall, the Song "All you need is love" refers to my view of the world.

If I could have my own theme song it would have to be "Fireworks" by Katy Perry. Here are some of the lyrics from the song.

You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow
Maybe your reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will glow
And when it's time, you'll know

The reason I picked this song is because it is saying that your own person, don't let anybody tell you to do what you don't want to. Also they are saying that if you follow your heart that it will lead to good things along the way. Some might not work out for the best but after awhile you will be glad it had happened. Things happen for the right reasons even if you are not happy about it. You had chossen to do those things and it lead to a good life for you if you choose it.

If I had a theme song it would be "Hold On" by TobyMac. This song fits my personality. Here are some of the lyrics.
"Wake up to the morning light
wipe away the lonely nights
let a brand new day wash over you,
Wanna see you smile again
show some love to your crazy friends
wipe your tears away
those days are through"
This song talks about new things coming and is very optimistic. I also like to be very optimistic. this song is also very encouraging and I try to be encouraging to others. This is why the song "Hold on" by TobyMac would be a good theme song for me.

I chose the song, "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison because I think that the lyrics describe me. The song talks about a girl who likes to laugh and have fun, and she has brown eyes. Here are some of the lyrics:
Laughing and a running hey,hey
Skipping and a jumping
In the misty morning fog with
Our hearts a thumpin' and you
My brown eyed girl,
You my brown eyed girl.
The song shows that the girl with brown eyes has fun and laughs. I have brown eyes, and I like to have fun. I am almost always laughing, andI really like this song. "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison is my theme song.

If you are a good friend of mine, then you would know that I am extremely random and absolutely love walruses. I don't kow why, but they are just awesome. And, I also love The Beatles. They are just awesome too. So, an ovious choice for my theme song is "I Am the Walrus". It is completely random and strange, like me. Here are some of the lyrics:

Semolina Plichard, climbing up the Eiffel Tower, Elementary penguin, singing Hari Krishna, man you should have seen them, kicking Edgar Allen Poe. I am the eggman, woo, they are the eggmen, woo, I am the walrus, goo goo g'joob, goo goo g'joob goo goo!

This song is random and awesome and about walruses, but theres probably some crazy meaning behind it. Thats why I Am the Walrus is my theme song.

I think that my theme is "BREAK" by Three Days Grace because it fits me and my outlook on life. Here are some of the lyrics:

Tonight, my head is spinning
I need something to pick me up
I’ve tried but nothing is working
I won’t stop
I won’t say I’ve had enough
Tonight, I start the fire
Tonight, I break away

[Chorus:]
Break away from everybody
Break away from everything
If you can’t stand the way
This place is
Take yourself to higher places
(ohhh, ohhh)

I think that they are saying to "BREAK" away from anything that holding you back and be the best!

I am the kind of person that looks for hope in everything I do so thats why i picked the song "The Day That Never Comes" by the greatest band ever, Metallica! This song reminds me of myself when i am having a bad day because i try to make it better and make "the sun shine." Here are the songs lyrics:

Born to push you around
You better just stay down
You pull away
He hits the flesh
You hit the ground

Mouth so full of lies
Tend to black your eyes
Just keep them close
Keep praying
Just keep waiting

Waiting for the one
The day that never comes
When you stand up and feel the warmth
But the sunshine never comes, no...
The sunshine never comes

Push you across that line
Just stay down this time
Hide in yourself
Crawl in yourself
You'll have your time

God, I'll make 'em pay
Take it back one day
I'll end this day
I'll splatter color on this grey

Waiting for the one
The day that never comes
When you stand up and feel the warmth
But the sunshine never comes, no...
The sunshine never comes

Love is a four letter word
And never spoken here
Love is a four letter word
Here in this prison

I suffer this no longer
I'll put an end to this I swear!
This I swear!
The sun will shine
This I swear!
This I swear!
This I swear!

This song is more about war rather than just everyday life, but it still is something i attempt to do anyway. Also i think that I look for what is good in everyday and try to make the most of it.

My theme song is "Dont Stop Believin" by Journey. I chose that song because when my baseball team is down in a game and my dad says everything can happen. To me anything can happen means dont stop belivein. Also my familey says sky is the limit unless you dont belive.Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching in the night
Streetlight people
Living just to find emotion
Hiding somewhere in the night

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to that feelin'
Streetlight people

Don't stop believin'
Hold on
Streetlight people

Don't stop believin'

It is common knowledge that I have a love for the game of soccer. This game is not only a test of your physical ability but also your teamwork, trust, and obviously a never say die attitude. I believe the song "Citizen/Soldier" by 3 Doors Down expresses just that and that is why I choose it as my theme song. Hear is an excerpt:

"On that day when you need your brothers and sisters to care,
I'll be right here!
Citizen soldiers holding the light for the ones that we guide from the dark of despair.
Standing on guard for the ones that we sheltered,
We'll always be ready because we will always be there...

There... there... there...

Hope and pray that you'll never need me,
But rest assured I will not let you down.
I'll walk beside you but you may not see me,
The strongest among you may not wear a crown."

I beleive this song not only shows my teamwork and attitude but also my humbleness and that is why this would be my theme song.

If i had a theme song it would be dynamite because it is a very happy, jumpy song. also because it talks about living your life to the fullest and to always have fun. it also describes me because it is very fast and upbeat and thats like my life. Here are some of the lyrics.

I throw my hands up in the air sometimes,
Saying AYO! gotta let go!
I wanna celebrate and live my life,
Saying AYO! baby, let’s go!

I came to dance, dance, dance, dance
I hit the floor 'cause that’s my prance, prance, prance, prance
I’m wearing all my favorite brands, brands, brands, brands
Give me space for both my hands, hands, hands, hands

Ye, ye

'Cause it goes on and on and on.......
And it goes on and on and on......

Yeah!

I throw my hands up in the air sometimes,
Saying AYO! gotta let go!
I wanna celebrate and live my life,
Saying AYO! baby, let’s go!

'Cause we gon’ rock this club,
We gon’ go all night,
We gon’ light it up,
Like it’s dynamite!
'Cause I told you once,
Now I told you twice,
We gon’ light it up,
Like it’s dynamite!

I came to move, move, move, move
Get out the way me and my crew, crew, crew, crew
I’m in the club so I’m gonna do, do, do, do
Just what the f*** I came here to do, do, do, do

Ye, ye

'Cause it goes on and on and on.......
And it goes on and on and on........

Yeah!

I think if I were to be a proffesional sports star, then my theme song would be something like "Blow Me Away" by Breaking Benjamin. In the song, a guy and his troop are going into war. This song is kind of what my attitude in life is like. The lyrics "Only the strongest will survive, Lead me to heaven when we die." is what most contributes to my attitude toward life. It means I have t stay strong, not give up, and lead a good life before I die. Here are some of it's lyrics:

They fall in line
One at a time
Ready to play
(I can't see them anyway)
No time to lose
We've got to move
Steady your helm
(I am losing sight again)

[Bridge:]
Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)
After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

[Chorus:]
Only the strongest will survive
Lead me to heaven, when we die
I am the shadow on the wall
I'll be the one to save us all

[Verse 2:]
There's nothing left
So save your breath
Lying in wait
(Caught inside this tidal wave)
Your cover's blown
No where to go
Holding your fate
(Loaded I will walk alone)

[Bridge:]
Fire your guns
It's time to run
Blow me away
(I will stay, in the mess I made)
After the fall
We'll shake it off
Show me the way

The song I chose is "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". These are the lyrics:

"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun"
(originally by Cyndi Lauper)

I come home, in the mornin' light
My mother says "When you gonna live your life right?"
Oh momma dear, we're not the fortunate ones
And girls, they wanna have fun
Oh girls just wanna have fun...

The phone rings, in the middle of the night
My father yells "What you gonna do with your life?"
Oh daddy dear, you know you're still number one
But girls they wanna have fun
Oh girls just wanna have

That's all they really want...
Some fun...
When the workin' day is done
Oh girls, they wanna have fun
Ho hoo girls just wanna have (girls)fun (they want)
(Wanna have fun)
(Girls)
(Wanna have)

Some boys take a beautiful girl
And hide her away from the rest o' the world
I wanna be the one to walk in the sun
Oh girls, they wanna have fun
Ho hoo girls just wanna have

That's all they really want...
Is some fun...
When the workin' day is done
Oh girls, they wanna have fun
Oh girls just wanna have (girls) fun (they want)
(Wanna have fun)
(Girls)
(Wanna have)

They just want, they just wanna (girls)
They just want, they just wanna (girls just wanna have fun)
Oh girls

Girls just wanna have fun
(Just want, they just wanna)
They just want, they just wanna (girls)
They just want, they just wanna (girls just wanna have fun)
Girls, girls just wanna have fun

When the workin'
When the workin' day is done
Oh, when the workin' day is done
Oh, girls
Girls just wanna have fun

They just want, they just wanna (girls)
They just want, they just wanna (girls just wanna have fun)
Oh, girls

Girls just wanna have fuun
(They just wanna, they just wanna)
When the workin'
When the working day is done (they just want, they just wanna)
Oh, when the working day is done (oh, girls)
(Girls just wanna have fun)
Oh, girls
Girls just wanna have fun
(They just want, they just wanna)

This song relates to me because I like to have fun wth my friends and not worry about my life at home when I am with them. They keep my mind off my home life. When i am with them, all my worries go away. I love to be with my friends. When everyone is having a bad day, my friends are there to lighten up the day. They make me happy when I am with them. In the song the girls like to have fun after the work is done and when your friends are around. my friends make me want to have fun.

I think that my theme song for me is never gonna be alone by the NickelBack because I dont like to be alone. I am always hanging out with friends or at work. I think being alone means you have no friends or life. That is why i think that never gonna be alone is my theme song. So here is some of the song.

Time, is going by, so much faster than I,
And I'm starting to regret not spending all of it with you.
Now I'm, wondering why, I've kept this bottled inside,
So I'm starting to regret not telling all of this to you.
So if I haven't yet, I've gotta let you know...

Never gonna be alone!
From this moment on, if you ever feel like letting go,
I won't let you fall...
Never gonna be alone!
I'll hold you 'til the hurt is gone.

I walk a lonely road
The only one that I have ever known
Don't know where it goes
But it's home to me and I walk alone

I walk this empty street
On the Boulevard of Broken Dreams
Where the city sleeps
and I'm the only one and I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk alone

I walk alone
I walk a...

My shadow's the only one that walks beside me
My shallow heart's the only thing that's beating
Sometimes I wish someone out there will find me
'Til then I walk alone

My song would have to be 'Almost Easy' by Avenged Sevenfold, because I've lost so many people in my life and because I could come off as self-centered or narsacistic. I listen to this song almost everyday, mostly because Avenged Sevenfold is like my favorite band.

"I feel insane every single time I'm asked to compromise 'cause I'm afraid and stuck in my ways and that's the way it stays. So how long did I expect love to outway ignorance? By the look on your face, I may have forced the scale to tip. I'm not insane, I'm not insane. I'm not insane, I'm not - not insane. (Mother) Come back to me, it's almost easy. (Said it all) Come back again, it's almost easy. Shame pulses through my heart from the things I've done to you. It's hard to face but the fact remains that this is nothing new. I left you bound and tied with suicidal memories. Selfish beneath the skin, but deep inside I'm not insane. I'm not insane, I'm not insane. I'm not insane, I'm not - not insane. (Mother) come back to me, it's almost easy. (Said it all) Come back again, it's almost easy. (You're learn you're lesson) Come back to me, it's almost easy. (But first you fall) Come back again, it's almost easy. Now that I've lost you, it's kills me to say (Hurts to say) I've tried to hold on as you're slowly slipped away. I'm losing the fight. I've treated you so wrong now let me make it right."

I love this song and I think it describes me fairly well, only because of my past experiences.

Just a small town girl
Livin' in a lonely world
She took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere
Just a city boy
Born and raised in South Detroit
He took the midnight train
Goin' anywhere

A singer in a smokey room
A smell of wine and cheap perfume
For a smile they can share the night
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching
In the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin', somewhere in the night

Workin' hard to get my fill
Everybody wants a thrill
Payin' anything to roll the dice
Just one more time
Some will win
Some will lose
Some were born to sing the blues
Oh, the movie never ends
It goes on and on and on and on

Strangers waiting
Up and down the boulevard
Their shadows searching
In the night
Streetlights, people
Livin' just to find emotion
Hidin', somewhere in the night

Don't stop believin'
Hold on to the feelin'
Streetlights, people
Don't stop believin'
Hold on
Streetlights, people

My theme song would be from a T.V show called "Phineas and Ferb". The song is called "My goodie two shoes brother", which is sung by an evil scientist named Dr.Doofeinshmertz to his nemisis, Perry the platyups, to describe his evil sceme. In the begining of the song, he talks about all the people he dosent like. The main part of the song is when he sings "My goodie two shoes brother, the favorite of my mother, is the one I want to smother in a ton of pigon goo". I would chose this song because there are lots of people, my brother included, that I would like to do stuff to just like Doofenshmertz. In conclusion, that is the song I would chose and why.

I choose the song "Demolition Lovers) by My Chemical Romance. This song describes two people going onto a highway and shooting everybody in sight. I did not choose this song because shooting is right, I chose it because the people in the song are doing what they believe is right. I do what i beleive is right, therefore, the main theme of this song describes me. Here are some lyrics:

Hand in mine, into your icy blues
And then I'd say to you we could take to the highway
With this trunk of ammunition too
I'd end my days with you in a hail of bullets

I chose this song because it describes me, nott because of shooting. It describes doing what you want.

Varius songs seem to be my theame song but i feel that my theame song is "The Climb" by miley Cyrus.
I feel like this is my theame song beacuase i have dreams of becoming succsesfull in life. Within this song Miley Cyrus Says that she has these dreams and hopes of being somthing but in her mind she thinks she wont be able to do it. I feel This relates to me because I feel like i have a hard time trying to acheive my own goals because that little voice in side of me dosnt think i can do it. (Below i have supplied the secion of those lyrics explaind above.)
********************************
I can almost see it.
That dream I'm dreaming, but
There's a voice inside my head saying
You'll never reach it
Every step I'm takin'
Every move I make
Feels lost with no direction,
My faith is shakin'
But I gotta keep tryin'
Gotta keep my head held high
*********************************
Secondly, Miley says that she just has to keep her faith, hope and dreams and push on to make them a reality. I feel the same way about my dreams and hopes. I just keep getting up and hold my head up high and keel climbing. (These lyrics are displayed below)
*********************************
There's always gonna be another mountain
I'm always gonna wanna make it move
Always gonna be an uphill battle
Sometimes I'm gonna have to lose
Ain't about how fast I get there
Ain't about what's waitin' on the other side
It's the climb
*********************************
As you can see from this information I belive that my theame song is "The Climb" because i have hopes and dreams that I want to make a reality and i want to be able to achive those dreams and hopes and climb as many mountains as i need to to achieve those dreams to make them a reality.

If I had to pick a theme song for my self it would be "I Wanna be a Billionare" by Travie McCoy.I picked that because I always wanted to be famous like their saying in the song.I've always wanted to have alot of money. Here are some of the lyrics:
Oh every time I close my eyes
I see my name in shining lights
A different city every night oh
I swear the world better prepare
for when I'm a billionaire
I'll be playing basketball with the President
dunking on his delegates
then I'll compliment him on his political etiquette
toss a couple milli in the air just for the heck of it
but keep the fives, twentys, tens and bens completely separate
and yeah I'll be in a whole new tax bracket
we in recession but let me take a crack at it
I'll probably take whatever's left and just split it up
so everybody that I love can have a couple bucks
and not a single tummy around me would know what hungry was
eating good sleeping soundly
I know we all have a similar dream
Go in your pocket, pull out your wallet
and put it in the air and sing
As you can see this song talks about how they want to be a billionare and thats what I want also.

Bailey M. period 5 When i die, i wish to have no regrets. The song "Speak Now" by Taylor Swift made me realize that you should speak what is on your mind no matter what people may think of you because you never know if it's your last chance to say it. If you don't, you will always say "I wish i had said that when i had the chance."
My favorite lyrics from this song are the lines
"I hear the preacher say, 'Speak now or forever hold your peace'
There’s the silence, there’s my last chance
I stand up with shaky hands, all eyes on me
Horrified looks from everyone in the room"
Those lyrics mean a lot to me because sometimes i really have something to say and my heart is beating fast while i contemplate weather or not to ‘Speak Now.’ Often I don’t, but lately I have realized that I will always regret not speaking. In a way this song is also about living life to the fullest and not ever wishing you had done something and now it’s too late, and that is what this song has tought me and is why this song relates to me.

For me, I chose the song "Firework" by Katy Perry. This song relates to children and teens finding their own way in life. It also relates to me because it's talking about being spontaneous and being yourself, which is what I always do. It teaches them to be themselves and grow self-esteem and be themselves.

"...Do you ever feel like a plastic bag,
drifting through the wind
wanting to start again?
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin
like a house of cards,
one blow from caving in?

Do you ever feel already buried deep?
6 feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing
Do you know that there's still a chance for you
'Cause there's a spark in you

You just gotta ignite, the light, and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July

'Cause baby you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh"
You're gonna leave 'em falling awe-awe-awe

You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow

Maybe your reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will glow
And when it's time, you'll know

You just gotta ignite, the light, and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July

'Cause baby you're a firework
Come on, show 'em what you're worth
Make 'em go "Oh, oh, oh"
As you shoot across the sky-y-y

Baby, you're a firework
Come on, let your colors burst
Make 'em go "Oh, Oh, Oh"
You're gonna leave 'em falling awe-awe-awe

Boom, boom, boom
Even brighter than the moon, moon, moon
It's always been inside of you, you, you
And now it's time to let it through-ough-ough..."

Like the lyric "Let your Colors Burst" is also means, let your true self out. So like at the end of the day you have to be yourself, which is a good thing.= "Baby Your A Firework". This song relates to me a lot.

The theme song I chose for the blog was "I'll always remember you" by Miley Cyrus. I chose this song because it represents me the most. It talks about how a girlfriend and a boyfriend break up, but she tells the guy that he will always be in her heart and she will always remember him. Here is the lyric of the song that represents me the most "There'd be laughter, there'd be tears." The reason this lyric relates to me is because when I'm in a relationship I sometimes laugh or cry. This is why I chose this song to be my theme song.

My theme song is "When im gone"
by Eminem i chose that song because there are many lines that i can really relate to.For example "have you ever loved someone so much you'd give an arm for not the expression no literally give an arm for". Reminds me of someone that care about so much and i would give my arm for them. Another line is "When im gone just carry on" realates to me because i have a very hard time dealing with deaths in my family. and i cant really carry on i just stay mourning for a very long time.

If I had my own theme song it would probably be "Push it to the Limit" by Corbin Bleu. I feel that this song relates to me becuase sports are a huge part of my life and it tells you to give it all you have and do it to win. I play to win, not just to have fun. I give it my all everytime I start a game.

Push it push it to the limit limit
Cause we're in it to win it in it to win it
Oh yeah.

Push it push it to the limit limit
Give it all we can give it
We're in it to win it
Oh yeah.

The song "Surrender" by Cheap Trick reminds me of my life for many reasons. I chose this song because of the one lyric "Mommy's alright, Daddy's alright, they just seem a little weird" because it reminds me the one time I came home from a friends house. My mom and dad where in the kitchen, and they were arguing and then my mom gave my dad a wedgey and my dad pulled my mom's pants down. So basically that lryic reminds me how I have to live with wierd parents, but I wouldn't want to live any other way. That's why the song by Cheap Trick reminds me of my life with my weird parents, and I'm glad to live like that.

If i could have my own theam song than i would choose "Fifteen" by Taylor A. Swift. I chose this because it reminds me of my sister, because she sings it al the time. Also, I chose this because of my sister because she has cansure. Her only wishe is that she could be 15 again. I love my sister! Here are the lyrics.

Fifteen lyrics
Songwriters: Swift, Taylor Alison;

You take a deep breath and you walk through the doors
It's the morning of your very first day
And you say hi to your friends you ain't seen in a while
Try and stay out of everybody's way

It's your freshman year and you're gonna be here
For the next four years in this town
Hoping one of those senior boys will wink at you and say
"You know, I haven't seen you around before"

'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
And when you're fifteen feeling like there's nothing to figure out
Well, count to ten, take it in
This is life before you know who you're gonna be
Fifteen

You sit in class next to a redhead named Abigail
And soon enough you're best friends
Laughing at the other girls who think they're so cool
We'll be outta here as soon as we can

And then you're on your very first date and he's got a car
And you're feeling like flying
And you're momma's waiting up and you're thinking he's the one
And you're dancing 'round your room when the night ends
[From: http://www.elyrics.net/read/t/taylor-swift-lyrics/fifteen-lyrics.html ]
When the night ends

'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
When you're fifteen and your first kiss
Makes your head spin 'round
But in your life you'll do things greater than
Dating the boy on the football team
But I didn't know it at fifteen

When all you wanted was to be wanted
Wish you could go back and tell yourself what you know now

Back then I swore I was gonna marry him someday
But I realized some bigger dreams of mine
And Abigail gave everything she had to a boy
Who changed his mind and we both cried

'Cause when you're fifteen and somebody tells you they love you
You're gonna believe them
And when you're fifteen, don't forget to look before you fall
I've found time can heal most anything
And you just might find who you're supposed to be
I didn't know who I was supposed to be at fifteen

Your very first day
Take a deep breath girl
Take a deep breath as you walk through the doors

That was my song and why i chose it.

When ever my friends tell me I'm odd, or I’m just in thee mood for this song I always listen to it. When know that no one will be out there for me I listen to the song Therapy by All Time Low. Yeah, it’s a dorky song. But in the first verse "My ship went down in a sea of sound
When I woke up alone, I had everything
A handful of moments, I wished I could change
And a tongue like a nightmare that cut like a blade" It means that I always bite my lip at what I say cause it means I could hurt someone.
I always like the morbid kind of music, the kind that makes no sense and is hard to really understand.

For my theme song I am picking "Long Live" by Taylor Swift. I picked this as my theme song because it tells about all of the memories with her friends, and her band. Also, the song states how you should live life to the fullest, and remember all the things that made you smile, or made you happy. I always try to remember all the goods thing in my life and forget about the bad. So, as you can see, this song states my theme song perfectly.

"Long live the walls we crashed through, all the kingdom lights shined just for me and you. I was screaming, "Long live all the magic we made," and bring on all the pretenders, one day we will be remembered."

I have many different songs that describe me, but Grenade by Bruno Mars shows that I care for my friends, and that I would do anything for them. But sometimes they wont do the same as you. Here are some lyrics:

I'd catch a grenade for ya(yeah yeah yeah)
Throw my hand on a blade for ya (yeah yeah yeah)
I'd jump in front of a train for ya(yeah yeah yeah)
You know I'd do anything for ya(yeah yeah yeah)
I would go through al this pain
Take a bullet straight through my brain
Yes i would die for you baby, but you wont do the same

I know not all of my friends are like this but i will do anything for them. I love all of my friends and family no matter what!

the song i have chosen is called rainbow in the dark by dio. I chose this song because when ever i fight with my family i feal lost. Also i have chosen this because when im in shool it feals like life is moving slow and there is no sign of the end of the day coming. These opinons why i chose this song are exsplained in the lyrics bellow

When there's lightning
You know it always brings me down
'Cause it's free and I see
that its me who's lost and never found

A cry out for magic
I feel it dancing in the light
It was cold, lost my hold
To the shadows of the night

No sign of the morning coming
You've been left on your own
Like a rainbow in the dark,
A rainbow in the dark

Do your demons-do they ever let you go?
When you try
Do they hide deep inside
Is it someone that you know?

You're just a picture
You're an image caught in time
We're a lie-You and I,
We're words without a rhyme

There's no sign of the morning coming
You've been left on you're own
Like a rainbow in the dark
Just a rainbow in the dark, yeah, ya

When I see lightning
You now it always brings me down
'Cause it's free and i see
That it's me who's lost and never found

Feel the magic-I feel it floating in the air
But it's fear
And you hear it calling you beware
Look out!

There's no sign of the morning coming
No sight of the day
You've been left on you're own
Like a rainbow, like a rainbow in the dark yeah ya
You're a rainbow in the dark
Just a rainbow in the dark
No sign of the morning
You're a rainbow...in the dark Whoa ooo whoa

If I had a theme song it would be "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac. A quote from the song is "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow, Yesterdays gone yesterdays gone." This fits with me because I never stop thinking about my future and I only worry about the past when it can cause big changes to the future. One thing I never stop thinking about is my long term goals. These would include making it to college and not getting kicked out of honors. In conclusion this is why this song would be my theme song.

Some Lyrics:

He'll go, feel it grow
We may not be the ones
Feel it go, feel like we know
We move around
We'll pay
We protest
We'll pawn off war
We protest...

We all hit the floor
Right or wrong
Youre such a fool
Ignorance at it's best

We are at war
Ignorance isn't bliss
We are lied to you suckers

This is not a joke
In the end
All suffer
For what we've done

I believe that everyone should be their self and let their true colors show. The song " Firework" by Katy Perry is a good example of this. it is about people who are scared to let their light shine through, but finally shine. I am not scared to be myself so this song relates to me very well. Here are some of the lyrics:

You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow

Maybe your reason why all the doors are closed
So you could open one that leads you to the perfect road
Like a lightning bolt, your heart will glow
And when it's time, you'll know

You just gotta ignite, the light, and let it shine
Just own the night like the 4th of July

This song tells everyone just to be their self and shine. I always tell myself never to change because of someone else. This is a very good song and can relate to many people.

Here are some lyrics to my theme song.

If I could have my own theme song it would be the song "Pray". This song is very special and has some facts in it. This song describes me in many ways. This song is also very sad. This song is by Justin Bieber. He is my favorite song artist. The lyrics are...

I just cant sleep tonight.
Knowing that things ain't right.
It's in the papers, it's on the TV, it's everywhere that I go.
Children are crying.
Soldiers are dying
Some people don’t have a home

But I know there’s sunshine behind that rain
I know there’s good times behind that pain
Hey.. can you tell me how I can make a change?

I close my eyes and I can see a better day
I close my eyes and pray
I close my eyes and I can see a better day

I lose my appetite, knowing kids starve tonight.
Am I a sinner 'cause my dinner is still on my plate?
Oh I got a vision, to make a difference.
And it's starting today.

I close my eyes and pray for the broken-hearted.
I pray for the life not started
I pray for all the ones not breathing.
I pray for all the souls in need.
I pray. Can you give 'em one today?

This song really touches my heart.

Just like the world is our our-our our-our-ours
We’re tearin’ it apart part-part pa-pa-part

Our bodies go num num-num num-num-numb
We’ll be forever youn youn-youn youn-youn-young

The song I picked is "Renegades of funk" by Rage against the machine. I picked this song because in the song it talkes about how they're renegades which means they are warriors and can't be stopped. They say this in in the lyrics. "no matter how hard you try you cant stop u now x2 since prehistoric ages and the days of ancinet greece right down through the middle ages planet earth kept going through changes and then no renaissance came, and times continued to change nothing stayed the same, but there were always renegades like chief sitting bull, tom paine, dr. martin luther king, malcom X they were renegades of their time and age the mighty renegades". I picked this song because it shows that the renegades are unstoppable.

my song that i picked was "HERO" by Nickleback. this song relates to me in a way because when i grown older i want to be a hero of something. here are the lyrics and they kind of mellow you out if you know what i mean.
I am so high. I can hear heaven.
I am so high. I can hear heaven.
Oh but heaven, no heaven dont hear me.

And they say that a hero can save us.
Im not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.

Someone told me love will ALL save us.
But how can that be, look what love gave us.
A world full of killing, and blood-spilling
That world never came.

And they say that a hero can save us.
Im not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.

Now that the world isnt ending, its love that Im sending to you.
It isnt the love of a hero, and thats why I fear it wont do.

And they say that a hero can save us.
Im not gonna stand here and wait.
I'll hold onto the wings of the eagles.
Watch as we all fly away.

And they're watching us
(Watching Us)
And they're watching us
(Watching Us)
As we all fly away.yeahaahh...ooouuhh(#3X)

Amanda P Period 8 If I had a theme song it would be Apology by Alesana. It does'nt discribe me or my life, but my bestfriends know that I love the song and the lyrics. The song is about hows he's trying to get over his ex-girlfriend, and how it would be easier and make him feel better if he apologies. In some ways it's kind of what I want to do. I would like to apologies to anyone I let down, or was mean to,just apologies to all my regrets. If I did it would make me feel better, like how it would make the singer feel better. I would just want to say i'm sorry have have them know that. Here's some of the lyrics,

No more as I wake
From this perfect dream...
I'll escape from Eden's walls
Can I not stay and live this lie?
For I must think only of myself

And to think that you will not be scared
Or surprised I severed all these ties
This is the end

Urgency overwhelms me as I must restrain my flood of tears I'll lose myself in anguish for tonight
Help me get over you
One last apology
Help me get over you

I pick Apology by Alesana for my theme song basicly I like the song and the band. I never get sick of it, I could listen to it all day. And even though the song is'nt completely me, I want to do what he does and apologies. Know matter who it is, my best friend, a family member or someone I barly know, it doesn't matter who. The singer is singing it to his ex-girlfriend, but if it was me singing it, it would be to everyone.

I chose "Love Hurts" by Nazareth.I chose this because I love slow types of music. This relates to me by how I loved somthing then it is gone. Also that it means that somthing good that can go bad.Thats what I chose foor my theme song.Love Hurts lyrics

Love hurts, love scars, love wounds and marks
Any heart not tough or strong enough
To take a lot of pain, take a lot of pain
Love is like a cloud holds a lot of rain.
Love hurts. Oooh,love hurts

I'm young I know, but even so
I know a thing or two. I've learned from you.
I've really learned a lot, really learned a lot.
Love is like a flame, it burns you when it's hot.
[- From :http://www.elyrics.net/read/n/nazareth-lyrics/love-hurts-lyrics.html -]
Love hurts. Oooh, love hurts

Some fools think of happiness,
Blissfulness, togetherness
Some fools fool themselves, I guess,
But they're not fooling me.

I know it isn't true, I know it isn't true.
Love is just a lie, made to make you blue.
Love hurts. Oooh, love hurts.
Oooh, love hurts.
Oooh, love hurts.

I have always been the kind of person that wants to just live my life to the fullest, and also have awesome adventures. The song "Born To Be Wild," by the Canadian rock group Steppenwolf, shows just the same philosophy. Some of the lyrics that go along with this is:
Get your motor runnin'
Head out on the highway
Lookin' for adventure
And whatever comes our way
Yeah Darlin' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace. These lyrics state that you should go out and look for adventure, and that is what I want to do. If I could live my life like this song, then my life would never be boring.

I chose "The Hockey Song" by Stompin' Tom Conners. I chose this song because I love hockey, and the song is all about hockey.

"Hello out there we're on the air it's hockey night tonight
Tension Grows as the whistle blows & the puck goes down the ice.
The goalie jumps and the players bump and the fans all go insane
Someone roars Bobby scores! at the good ole hockey game
Oh the good ole hockey game is the best game you can name and the the best game you can name is the good ole hockey game"
"The good ole hockey game" is my favorite sport and thing to do. 'Were on the air," I watch NHL On the Fly every morning, a Sportscenter all about hockey. I also play ice hockey at Niagara University.

If I had to pick a theme song for me it would be "Believe" by Blood On the Dancefloor. I think it fits my personality and view of life. Its about the singers asking their friends and family to believe in them even when they are gone and to remember all the good times they had. Also to keep moving forward in life and if they need help they will be there for them.

Believe in me,
When you feel like you're losing all your hopes and dreams.

Believe in me,
When I am gone, you gotta keep a smile on.

Believe in me,
Goodbye, my friends, just celebrate the times we spent.

Believe in me,
We all die, it's in our fully big adventure.

Believe in me, when I'm gone...

We all fall down,
We'll pick you up

We all fall down,
We'll pick you up

Believe in me,
Just keep your faith and believe in all that you make.

Believe in me,
My love is not a gamble, you can count on me.

Believe in me,
No lies just love, I will be pure just like the sun.

Believe in me,
When you are down, I will lift you up from the ground.

Im always trying to help my friends when somethings bothering them and they can always count on me. I remember the good time my family and I share. I belive in my family and friend and I know they can help me get through anything.

"This Is Who We Are" by As I Lay Dying is the song I chose for my theme song. I picked this song because I like to say true to who I am. I also enjoy listening to this song and it gets me motovated before I race. A powerful lyric from this song is "I'd rather be called weak than die thinking I was strong". That means that the person doesnt want to think he is somthing he is not, like me. Here are the lyrics.

Now this is who we are
I am no one's hero
For we are not the giant men
That some may think
You are faithful when we are not
So I'd like to tell this story
The way it is meant to be
Without the burden that's in our hearts
None of us would have ever found You
For You are faithful when we are not
You began a work
That only you can complete

Now this is who we are
I'll never know the answers
And I'll always wonder why

...Why we're given grace we'll never deserve
And a second chance that we will never earn
For there is nothing I can do to save myself

Now this is who we are
I'll never know the answers
And I'll always wonder why
But You have let me start again
I'd rather be called weak
Than die thinking I was strong

If i had to choose a theme song, it would be Firework,by Katy Perry. I choose this song because it shows that you should be yourself,and not care what people think.Some of the lyrics that show this are;
You don't have to feel like a waste of space
You're original, cannot be replaced
If you only knew what the future holds
After a hurricane comes a rainbow

If i had a theme song it would be "You Might Die Trying" by Dave Matthews Band i picked this song because im an athlete, the son of a cancer survivor a fan of Lance Armstrong and Dave Matthews is my favorite musician.
the song "You Might Die Trying" means just that. but you always have to try. Always need to give it your all in life.
Here are some of the lyrics:

To change the world,
Start with one step.
However small,
The first step is hardest of all.

Once you get your gate,
You will walk in tall.
You said you never did,
Cause you might die trying,
Cause you might die trying.
Cause you---

If you close your eyes,
Cause the house is on fire.
And think you couldn't move,
Until the fire dies.
The things you never did,
Oh, cause you might die trying,
Cause you might die trying.
You'd be as good as dead,
Cause you might die trying,
Cause you might die trying.

If you give, you, you begin to live.
If you give, you begin to live.
You begin, you get the world.
If you give, you begin to give
You get the world, you get the world.
If you give, you begin to live.

You might die trying.
Oh, you might die trying.
Yeah, you might die trying.

The things you never did,
Cause you might die trying;
You'd be as good as dead.
You never did.

If I had my own theme song, I would choose the song "Never Give Up" by Yolanda Adams. This song encourages you to express you ideas and feelings about life to others and that's what I aim to do in life. This song encourages me to follow what I believe n doing with my life and "Never Give Up" on my dreams. Your ideas might just change the world, so share them. Nobody should be afraid to dream out loud. Here are the lyrics:

*Visions that can change the world trapped inside an ordinary girl
She looks just like me too afraid to dream out loud
And though it's simple your idea, it won't make sense to everybody
You need courage now If you're gonna persevere

To fulfill divine purpose, you gotta answer when you're called
So don't be afraid to face the world against all odds

Keep the dream alive don't let it die
If something deep inside keeps inspiring you to try, don't stop
And never give up, don't ever give up on you
Don't give up

Every victory comes in time, work today to change tomorrow
It gets easier, who's to say that you can't fly
Every step you take you get, closer to your destination
You can feel it now, don't you know you're almost there?

To fulfill divine purpose, you gotta answer when you're called
So don't be afraid to face the world against all odds

Keep the dream alive don't let it die
If something deep inside keeps inspiring you to try, don't stop
And never give up, don't ever give up on you

Who holds the pieces to complete the puzzle?
The answer that can solve a mystery
The key that can unlock your understanding
It's all inside of you, you have everything you need
So, keep the dream alive don't let it die
If something deep inside, keeps inspiring you to try don't stop
And never give up, don't ever give up on you

Sometimes life can place a stumbling block in your way
But you're gotta keep the faith, bring what's deep inside your heart yeah your
Heart to the light
And never give up Don't ever give up on you

For my theme song I chose, "I Made It" by Kevin Rudolf, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Jay Sean. I chose this song because it explains how a person starts at the bottom with nothing and rises to the top. Its not just part of the song, its throughout all of it. Right before a soccer game I always listen to this because I turn up the bass to get me going. It has an awesome beat to it and that.

[Jay Sean]
Ooo I made it
I made it
I made It
I made it
Yo ay Ay ay listen
see i dont live for glamour, and I dont care for fame
im in this for the love of the game
funny how things can change
they didnt believe in me
then they calling my name
now look who cashed in
they didnt wanna know me back then
but ever since I don gon platinum
everything turned around
and now the sky is falling downnnnnn
